Changes, Changes, Changes

Well, clearly there are going to be changes since my last post (don't judge!), however, there have also been changes as of late that are just as notable. :)

I am now working as a Data Manager/Counselor Intern for Reno-Sparks Tribal Health Center's Intensive Outpatient Program. Quite a mouthful huh? In a nutshell, I basically interview Drug Court clients who come in for substance abuse issues and compile their data to send to the Feds for our grant reporting. Also, since I was a substance abuse counselor in the past, I'm currently interning again and preparing for the Licensing exam, which will most likely be sometime in December. I am so much happier in my job, it isn't even funny. I don't have that constant pit in my stomach the moment I drive into the parking lot. I don't dread Sundays because that means Monday is right around the corner. I don't burst into tears due to stress and unhappiness. I think now I can breathe a huge sigh of relief. Ahhhhhh.

Another new (and much anticipated) change is my new car! I previously had a trusty old Honda Civic, but recently upgraded to a Ford Escape (which I LOOOVE). It's so nice to have 4 doors! haha. Sometimes I miss zipping around in my 'ol Civic (RIP), but I absolutely love my new car.


Last, but not least, I finally chopped my hair off. I haven't had hair this short since early grade school, but it was definitely time. I told my hair dresser if I had had a pair of decent scissors and thought I could make myself look presentable, I would have taken them to my own hair long before I found myself sitting in her chair holding 7 inches of my hair!
